A list of essential items you may need while stuck at home.

I have seen so many people buying everything they can get their hands on. I know it’s a scary time but be realistic about what you need.

You don’t need to buy out the whole grocery store to stock up on essential supplies to get you through a crisis. Here is a short list of the things you need while stuck at home.

A first Aid Kit

Having a first aid kit allows you to take care of minor cuts and medical problems at home. The last thing you want to do right now is go to the emergency room. You med kit should contain band-aids, Antibiotic ointment, bandage wrap, gauze, rubber gloves, cold compass, scissors and ibuprofen. There are of course a lot more items you could add but these are the basics.

Tylenol

Your first aid kit should have some pain/fever medicine in it, but it doesn’t hurt to make sure you have enough. Stock up on Tylenol in case you, or someone in your family does get sick.

Prescription Medicine

Experts say it’s a good idea to have at least two months of any prescription medicine. We don’t know what’s going to happen, but having a well stocked supply of medicine means you don’t have to go to the pharmacy and risk getting…
