Valentines Day = Romance
Valentines day is supposed to be the most romantic day of the year, but who’s responsibility is it to make it romantic?
As a woman I always felt it was the man’s job to plan our romantic day. I was always disappointed.
My husband isn’t that good at planning anything romantic
After talking with other women I realized I was not the only one who thought this way. Many of them even admitted they didn’t know how to plan anything romantic.
The problem is, we always think we need to do this big elaborate night out to be romantic, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
You can do something simple. Like make heart shaped cookies and get a Valentines card.
There are several ways you can be romantic without having to plan a big night out. Small gestures can sometimes mean more then a fancy dinner at a resturant or a long walk on the beach.
Real romance is about how you behave and treat your partner. Listen to what they like and plan something around that.
Is there a movie they have been wanting to see? Plan a night in. Pop some popcorn and snuggle up on the couch to watch that movie your partners been dying to see.
Candles can really set the mood. Have a candle lit dinner. You don’t have to make a big fancy dinner, something simple like spaghetti eaten in candle light can be just as romantic as a big three course meal.
Whatever you do to be romantic just remember that romance is making your partner feel like they are the most important person in the world.
