As the weeks drag on, some people are becoming lax in their strategies for staying healthy. Here are six mistakes that could put you at risk.

Normalization

Fear of the unknown is a great driver for action. Now that this new caronavirus has been around for, I don’t even know how many weeks, it is no longer something people are terrified of. It has simply become a new way of life. We have now normalized it and become more lax in our protective measures. A study says the best way to combat this, is to act as if you are just learning about the virus.

Overlooking everyday things that keep you healthy.

Everybody is so focused on the health revolving around COVID-19 that they have forgotten about the everyday healthy habits. Exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, and communicating with friends and family have all been put the side so we can focus on, washing our hands properly, and wearing a face mask and gloves when out in the public.

I know everyone has a lot on their plate right now, but we still need to be aware of our regular healthy habits. Find a workout you can do inside, or even one you can do with your kids. My son and I do yoga twice a week. He loves it!
