How To Stop Being So Lazy

There is a place and time to be lazy. Everyday, all day is not it.

Sometimes it’s just easier to sit around and do nothing, but once you start being lazy it can be hard to stop. Don’t beat yourself up about it. We all have those moments of laziness. However if you find yourself sitting around more times then not, you may want to make some life changes that can make you a little more active.

Admitting that you have a problem with being lazy is the first step. Then just start with little steps. Sometimes the hardest thing is taking the first step, so start small. Maybe you simply get up and walk around the yard for five minutes, or write for five minutes. Whatever the task is, set a small goal to inspire yourself to get it done.

Start your day off by doing the most important thing you have to accomplish that day. When you start your day by completing a task, you set yourself up to feel motivated to keep doing things throughout the day.

Set aside a time for relaxing and being lazy. I like to relax after lunch, so I always set aside an hour of time for myself when I don’t plan to do any kind of work.

It’s okay to take more then one break to relax. Maybe you work for an hour and then take a ten minute break. This can help split up your daily work load, and give you something to look forward to. When…
