5 Ways To Love Yourself More

Loving yourself isn’t always easy so here are some tips to help you.

1. Be Your Own Best Friend.

If most of us spoke to others the way we speak to ourselves we would have no friends. Remember that you spend time with yourself twenty-four hours a day 352 days a year. That’s a lot of time, so be friendly.

Treat yourself with compassion and consideration. Just like you would your real best friend. Give your self a pep talk when you are feeling down. Treat yourself to a fun activity that you love.

Evaluate yourself. How close are you to yourself?

2. Change the way you see your flaws.

Instead of seeing your guilt, anger, fear, jealousy or sadness as a bad thing, look at them as an opportunity to grow. Everyone struggles with these emotions and we all feel insecure at times. That’s okay.

3. Love everything about yourself.

The reason so many people struggle with self-love is because they judge and reject themselves. Self-judgment is not always a bad thing. It helps us learn our strengths and weaknesses so we can make better choices.
